Eternal Smile

TAYLOR SAUER
"Photographs are precious memories...the visual evidence of place and time and relationships...ritual talisman for the treasure chest of the heart."~Robert Fulghum~
"What we have once enjoyed we can never lose.
All that we love deeply becomes a part of us."
~Helen Keller~
"Our joys will be greater
Our love will be deeper
Our lives will be fuller
Because we shared your moment"

~Unknown Author~
A million times we needed you,
A million times we cried,
If love alone could have saved you,
You would have never died,
In life we loved you dearly,
In death we love you still,
In our hearts we hold a place,
No one will ever fill,

A light from our house is gone,
A voice from our love is stilled,
A place in our vacant home,
Which can never be filled.
Some may think you are forgotten,
Though on earth you are no more,
But in our memory you are with us,
As you always were before.
It broke our hearts to lose you,
But you did not go alone,
A part of us went with you,
The day God called you home.
Your precious memories are for keepsakes,
with which we never part,
God has you safely in his keeping,
But we have you forever in our hearts.

A letter...

Hey Jessica,
Its just one of those days that I think about you constantly and ponder on all those special memories we had together. I think about you each day and can't help but feel, happy, sad, want to cry, and laugh all at the same time. Remember that one time we would break mom's cigarettes because we hated smelling like smoke, she stopped smoking! Just thought you should know. Remember when We were playing baseball in the front lawn at dad's and you got a bloody nose because amber hit you with a ball and we left you in the front yard because Amber said you were being a baby? haha, its funny now :)
I remember the day after Halloween and we had SO much candy and we set up two big boxes out in the lawn and we faced them towards each other and we sat at the end of each box and traded candy while it poured rain outside.
Or what about that time that you would chase the Fisher kids around the house and they called you a puma because you were fast (and none of them would admit it but they thought you were scary too).
My favorite memory is when Nina Bell and I got that fake spider for HTV and you scared Trenton with it. So funny! We watch the video from time to time.

I will never forget the time you ran over that cat and then turned around and moved it out of the road and said, "I think it was a family cat, it was fat."
Those are just a few memories that have ran through my mind today, trust me there are many more that we have, MANY more.
Dwayne and Tracy are doing great, they have a new addition, another puppy. You would love him! I don't know who is going to watch the sheep 24/7 during lambing season because I won't be home and , lets be honest, you are the only one that likes to sleep in the crates with them. :)

Ross and Amber are doing awesome as well, they too, have a puppy. The boys are growing like crazy and cute as ever!
I know it will be a while till we see each other again, but you have Grandma Hansen, Conner Landa, and Sonny Hansen to keep you good company!
I will see you December 16th at 3 in the best place on earth!!
Love you Jess!

Let me just brag a little

Typically this is where I complain about how horrible the semester is going and I am bound and determined to make up any excuse to explain why I give up in classes, and my life completely sucks, but for some reason this time its different. Let me start off by saying I hate icy roads, but am so excited to sip hot chocolate and listen to Christmas music while watching it snow. I just found out today that my anatomy teacher decided to make our 140 point heart anatomy quiz open everything and take home as well. Hallelujah! Christmas miracles do happen! I get married in 31 days...holy freak that is way soon! I leave on Thursday for a MUCH needed vacation with family and friends, and on top of that, I had a great hair day. Doesn't happen often but definitely the icing on the cake!
It doesn't look as "awesome" now, but at some point from 7 this
morning to now, it looked decent :)

Instead of Studying for Anatomy

I decided to make a blog, anatomy can wait because obviously this is WAY more important.
What's recent in my life you ask? Nothing too big,
I graduate from BYU-Idaho in a month or so (34 days to be exact, but who is counting),
I am going to be attending ISU starting in January
(which is possibly the second most exciting thing about my life).
...Oh yea don't forget I am getting married. No big deal, everyone does it.
OK I AM WAY EXCITED! Dratin is possibly the cutest, funniest person in this entire world.
I could be bias though. We get married December 16...so speak now or forever hold your peace!
To say the least, traveling to Pocatello, Burley, and Homedale,
is dipping into my shopping fund but it is worth it!
I am excited for the new adventure, and I am sure you will learn all about them as well :)
